At Aetna we recognize the importance of overall coverage from any network, especially the physician and hospital networks. In effort to ensure the best coverage for all of our members nationwide, we have a broad range of PPO providers. The different networks can be blended together to create the best state by state coverage.

The Galaxy Health Network has been Aetna' standard physician and hospital benefit for some time. In addition to Galaxy we are introducing ppoNext and Beech Street Network. With the availability of three different networks, clients can now evaluate which network provides the best coverage for their target audience. Our clients will also have the option to blend the networks, thus assigning the best network per member, based on the coverage in the member’s respective state. The consumer can also choose their network or networks.

• Members save 10% to 40% at participating physician offices and hospitals.
• The network allows members to access over 285,000 providers including family physicians, specialists, facilities and hospitals.
• The program utilizes one of the largest physician networks in the nation. Because the network has direct contracts with providers, there is no risk of losing provider access due to cancellation of a lease agreement.
• Since there are no age or health restrictions, anyone can receive savings with the Physician Visit/Hospital Referral Network.
• With the Physician program, members and their families can save 10% to 40% at participating family physicians and specialists throughout the United States.
• Members have access to over 300,000 provider locations and thousands of Hospital and Imaging, Lab and Diagnostics, Medical Supplies, and Emergency facilities nationally, each including family physicians and specialists.
• All potential providers are rigorously screened and must pass strict criteria and standards of excellence prior to joining the network.
• Since there are no age or health restrictions, anyone can receive savings with the Physician Visit/Hospital Referral Network.
